GOS-UNDP-GEF PROGRAMME COORDINATION UNIT
The GOS-UNDP-GEF Programme Coordination Unit (PCU) within the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change (MEECC) is implementing a GEF funded project entitled “A Ridge to Reef Approach for the Integrated Management of Marine, Coastal and Terrestrial Ecosystems in the Seychelles” (Ridge to Reef Project). The PCU is currently seeking experienced consultant to carry out the following assignment:
PREPARATION OF GAP ANALYSIS OF THE EXISTING GOVERNMENT POLICY FRAMEWORK THAT LIMIT THE APPLICATION OF RIDGE TO REEF APPROACHES AND
DEVELOP STRATEGY TO ADDRESS THESE ISSUES
Work is expected to commence in September 2020 and end in December 2020.

General Qualifications/Experience and Skills Required (see TOR for complete list)
- Advanced University Degree in Law and Legal Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline
- Experience in conducting gap analysis and developing strategies in the Seychelles desired;
- Familiarity with (environmental) laws and legal frameworks in Seychelles and other countries of the region or other SIDS is an advantage.
Applications MUST include:(a) cover letter describing experience and qualifications, (b) a full CV, (c) a technical proposal and work plan, (d) a financial proposal (professional fees) linked to the work plan and (e) Tax Identification number (TIN) from the Seychelles Revenue Commission.
